The grind degree of our filter coffees is in the middle range. It is therefore well suited for use with filter coffee machines and all brewing methods where the coffee is prepared by hand (Hario V60 filter, Chemex carafe, AeroPress, Kaffee-Syphon etc.), with the exception of the Karlsbad coffee maker, for which our pre-ground coffee is a little too fine, so that some of the sediment gets into the coffee through the porcelain filter.
The grind size of our espresso is tailored to espresso machines and also well suited for moka pots and other espresso makers.
Nevertheless, we recommend all passionate coffee drinkers to always buy their filter coffee or espresso as whole beans and grind it fresh for each serving.
